The Columbus Symphony is committed to increasing access for audiences to share in the transformative power of music in the concert hall. In pursuit of this commitment, the Columbus Symphony actively seeks new channels of accessibility to make available to our community members. Below are the currently available discounts and access opportunities.
The Columbus Symphony offers a variety of performance options to introduce our youngest fans to the concert hall.
MASTERWORKS
All children aged 6-16 will receive free admission to all Masterworks subscription concerts. Stop by the marketing table in the Ohio Theatre lobby to join our free Kids Klub and receive fun prizes and our musician trading cards for each concert attended! Just add a children’s ticket to your order before checkout!
Dedicated to educating and entertaining individuals of all ages, the Columbus Symphony invites students into the concert hall to experience live music.
High school or college students with a valid student ID may visit the CBUSArts Ticket Center the week of the show, starting on Monday at 10am, to purchase up to two tickets for $14 each per valid ID.
College students can experience all of the Columbus Symphony’s Masterworks performances by joining the CSO College Club. For a membership fee of $25, students gain exclusive access to a wealth of musical experiences and other benefits.
As a member of a CSYO ensemble (hyperlink to page), students receive one free child ticket and one free adult ticket per Masterworks performance.
Discounts are available for patrons 65 years young or older. Just use the senior price when purchasing online, or request the senior discount when you call or come in to purchase your tickets and receive 25% off.
Recognizing all of the dedicated teachers around central Ohio teachers can access performances for free with a Music Educator Card. The card offers each K-12 Central Ohio music teacher two free tickets for each Masterworks performance during the season! Visit our Music Educator page for more information.
The Columbus Symphony teamed up with the Columbus Metro Libraries to be part of their Culture Pass Program. Adult library cardholders can checkout a CSO Culture Pass from any Columbus Metro Library location and receive a complimentary (free) ticket for one Masterworks performance. Learn more here.
In partnership with the VetTix Foundation, the Columbus Symphony makes free tickets available for active-duty members of the military, veterans, and their families to attend all Masterworks performances.
