Planned Giving

Create a lasting legacy by including support for the Columbus Symphony in your estate planning.

Overview

The Columbus Symphony breathes life into classical and popular music, creates contagious energy in our audience, and fosters innovative relationships across all industries. We are proud and fortunate to live in a community of many devoted donors and patrons here in Columbus, and we must act to ensure the bright future of our orchestra. We hope that you will take part in sharing our mission and commitment to transformative symphonic music that has a lasting impact throughout our community.

Now is the time to share the Columbus Symphony’s mission and strengthen our community through the arts, in perpetuity, with our orchestra. Join us in creating a more beautiful-sounding world.

If you would like to declare your intention to include a gift to the Columbus Symphony Endowment, either in your estate plan or through a living gift, please download this Declaration of Intent form.

Legacy Society

The Legacy Society acknowledges and honors dedicated music enthusiasts who, through bequests or long-term charitable giving plans, have chosen to include the Columbus Symphony in their legacy. Planned gifts from Legacy Society members bolster the financial strength of the CSO and offer individuals a means to secure their lasting impact on our community. As a token of gratitude, Legacy Society members receive exclusive benefits and invitations throughout the season, including:

  • Donor recognition in the Bravo Program Book and Annual Report
  • opportunities to ATTEND OPEN REHEARSALS and get an insider’s view of the work of the COLUMBUS SYMPHONY
  • Invitations to Legacy SOCIETY and other special events
