Mozart to Matisse – Im/material Presence: Portraits of Resilience in Contemporary Art

Join CMA Art Bridges Fellow Grace Tran and members of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon of music and art. Tran will explore a selection of contemporary LGBTQ+ artists whose works resist erasure and celebrate resilience through their approaches to visibility and memory. After her talk, enjoy a live performance of Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 18 No. 1 by Tatiana Hanna (violin), Robert Firdman (violin), Ye Jin Goo (viola), and Wendy Morton (cello).
