Mary Jean Petrucci
Mary Jean Petrucci, violinist, joined the Columbus Symphony Orchestra in September 1984. After growing up in Waterbury, Connecticut, Ms. Petrucci received advanced musical training at the Hartt College of Music where she earned both Bachelor and Master degrees while studying with Bernard Lurie and Raphael Bronstein. After spending several summers of study in Siena, Italy, Ms. Petrucci played professionally with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, Italy for eight years. In Florence, Ms. Petrucci performed with Musicus Concentus in addition to playing numerous chamber music and solo recitals. She has played with the San Francisco Symphony and has performed as soloist with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and the Hartford Symphony.
