The Columbus Symphony is committed to being an organization that makes a difference through music and to serve the community by expanding and strengthening the cultural programming available to the constituencies of underserved and isolated populations in our community at diverse locations including local hospitals, nursing homes, retirement communities, food pantries, correctional facilities and so much more. The beauty and artistry of music – especially in live performance – has remarkable powers to bring joy, relieve stress, heal pain, and transform lives.

During the spring through fall months of 2020, the Symphony continued to reach nearly 1,000 individuals through free outdoor, socially distanced, ensembles. Concert locations included:
