CSO Cares

Committed to deepening its service to the community, the Columbus Symphony (CSO) has launched Columbus Symphony Cares, a new initiative wherein the orchestra supports the missions of central Ohio social service organizations and schools through the creation of partnerships that bring the transformative power of music to their clients, constituencies, students, and staffs. The CSO works with each partner organization to create a year-long menu of opportunities to engage their clients with performances, musicians, and opportunities for interactive education and enrichment.

Programming for Columbus Symphony Cares is customized to suit the needs and mission of each partner organization. Options include small ensemble concerts at partners’ headquarters or program sites, special nights at the Columbus Symphony (free tickets, pre-concert reception, opportunities to meet musicians, etc.), partner receptions (with free tickets) at Family Concerts, Popcorn Pops and Holiday Pops, instrument “petting zoos” for children, instruction/mentoring sessions with musicians, appearances by the Columbus Symphony’s “Bee-thoven” mascot, and more.
