Paul Bambach

Mr. Bambach is in demand as a teacher, coach, adjudicator, clinician, clarinetist and conductor throughout the United States and Europe. Internationally, Mr. Bambach has been in residence at the Montanea Festival Summer Music Institute and International Composer's Conference in Talloires (France) and at the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival in Termoli (Italy). As clarinetist, national performance venues include Merkin Hall, Carnegie Hall, the International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest 2008, Eastman School of Music, and several national music conferences held in San Diego, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Boston. He has presented master classes and served as panelist for the Music Teachers National Association and the California Association of Professional Music Teachers. As adjudicator, Mr. Bambach has been active within California adjudicating for the Kern Philharmonic Society, the Allied Arts Association, and the Cuesta College Youth Chamber Musicfest. In 2009, he was guest conductor for the Santa Barbara School District High School Honor Band and for the Central Coast Section Honor Band.

Mr. Bambach is a founding member of the Flute/Clarinet Duos Consortium, which has commissioned five works since 2001. A former student of Carmine Campione, Theodore Johnson and Robert Marcellus, Mr. Bambach has recorded for Battery Records, New World Records, CRI and National Public Radio. Mr. Bambach has been a Yamaha Artist and Clinician since 1997.
