I’m a CSO Season Ticket Subscriber and I already know I’ll need to
exchange one or some of my tickets for the shows in the upcoming season.
How soon can I exchange?

Beginning July 15, you may exchange tickets as needed. The CSO strives
to be flexible so subscribers are able to exchange from a POPS series show
to a Masterworks show at the Ohio or Southern, and vice versa.

I cannot attend one of my performances due to a conflict. How do I exchange
tickets?

As a Season Ticket Subscriber, should you be unable to attend one of your
scheduled performances, you are able to exchange your tickets to another CSO
performance. Keep in mind when exchanging, the same seats most likely will not be
available. We will make every effort to try and place you into comparable seating.
Please note that exchanges MUST be done at least 24 hours in advance of your
performance. Tickets for a Saturday or Sunday performance must be exchanged by
5pm on Friday.

There are four ways to exchange your tickets:
1) Mail your tickets to:
CAPA Ticket Center
39 East State Street
Columbus, Ohio 43215

2) Fax in your tickets to: 614-340-2272

3) E-mail your tickets to: tickets@capa.com

4) In person at the CAPA Ticket Center
39 East State Street
Open M-F 9am-5pm, and Sat 10am-2pm

Should you have any questions about the exchange process, please call the CAPA
Ticket Center at 614-469-0939.

As a subscriber there is no fee to exchange tickets, but if you exchange to a higher
priced performance and/or seating location, there will be a difference to be collected
upon the exchange being processed. We are not able to refund or credit a difference
when exchanging to a lower priced performance or seating area.

I’m not a CSO Season Ticket Subscriber, am I still able to exchange tickets?

Yes. As a non subscriber there will be a $5 per ticket exchange fee.
You may still exchange tickets, and follow the same protocol listed in the previous
question. Again all exchanges MUST be done at least 24 hours in advance of your
performance.

I’ve misplaced or lost my ticket(s), what can I do?

Call the CAPA Ticket Center as soon as you realize your tickets are missing.
Having your account number ready will be useful in the Ticket Center assisting
looking up your subscription/tickets to verify your seating and performance. We
can reprint your tickets, thus making the original tickets void. If this happens
less than 10 days prior to a performance we will just hold the reissued tickets
at Will Call to be picked up at the theatre of your performance. Will Call opens
two hours prior to show time. You will just need a form of identification to pick
up the tickets.

Is there a group ticket rate available for CSO shows?

Yes. Our group sales department can assist you in purchasing a group of tickets.
Group minimum for most shows is 10. Please call JoLane Campbell, Group Sales
Manager, at 614-719-6900.

I’m a CSO Season Ticket Subscriber, I cannot make a performance, but I
have tickets to the rest of the shows. What can I do?

There are a few options:

You can exchange your tickets to a performance you already have tickets to and get
extra tickets for said performance. We will try our best to find two new seats near
your subscription seats.

You could give the “gift of music” to family or friends!

Last but not least you could always donate your tickets back to the Symphony.
Donating tickets follows the same procedure as exchanging tickets. Donation of
tickets MUST be done at least 24 hours in advance of your performance. Tickets
for a Saturday or Sunday performance must be donated by 5pm on Friday. Any
donation request received after these times cannot be processed.
Once a donation has been processed a letter from our Development Department will
be sent to you for your tax deductible records.

I missed my scheduled performance due to an emergency. Do I have any
options?

Unforeseen circumstances and emergencies happen, we understand. If such a
situation has prevented you from making exchange arrangements prior to your
scheduled performance, call us. We will attempt to relocate you into a remaining
performance of the same show, on a space available basis only. NO refunds or
donations are offered for missed performances.

Do you offer a Senior Discount?

Certainly! You must be 60 years young or older to qualify. Just request the senior discount when you call or come in to purchase your tickets.

Do you offer a Student Discount?

Yes we do! Any high school or college student with a valid student I.D. may come into the CAPA Ticket Center the week of the show (starting on Monday at 9am), and may purchase up to 2 tickets per valid I.D. This is valid for the Masterworks and Pops Series shows. Not valid in top price level seating areas.

What is the College Club?

Brand new this year, the CSO now has the College Club. With a valid college I.D. you can become a member for $25 for the year. This will grant you access to all Masterworks Series performances (one ticket per performance, can claim ticket the week of the show). Other perks include being able to purchase up to 4 additional student tickets for $8 each, access to post-concert events, and special membership e-mails. Visit or call the CAPA Ticket Center to sign up!

What are the Access Concerts?

The new Access series is designed to introduce people with little or no experience in classical music to some of the most popular works in a creative, educational, and innovative format. These budget-friendly concerts will feature just a single work, new Music Director will lead the audience through a process in which the piece is taken apart bit by bit, and then following intermission the entire piece will be played without interruption. A social event will follow the performances.

These are not part of any subscription series. Subscribers may purchase Access Concert tickets on July 15th, and the General Public may begin purchasing on August 3rd.
